About Us
Happy Camper at Baggs’ End is located on the outskirts of the town of Baggs, WY, in the southwestern part of the state. Baggs End is quiet and rustic, in the heart of the untamed wilderness.
The area is known for its natural beauty, with a number of outdoor recreation opportunities available. There are numerous hiking and biking trails in the nearby Medicine Bow National Forest, the Sierra Madre Range, and the Red Desert.
If you enjoy fishing and boating, the Encampment River and the North Platte River flow through the area, offering excellent water recreation opportunities.
Are you looking to relax? The Encampment Golf Club and the Brush Creek Ranch Golf Club offer nearby golfing. The area around Baggs End is home to several excellent museums that provide a range of exhibits on the natural and cultural history of the region.
The Medicine Bow Museum is dedicated to the area’s natural history, Native American history, and cultural heritage. The Fort Fred Steele State Historic Site includes many historical buildings and exhibits on the history of the fort and the Union Pacific Railroad.
The Carbon County Museum is dedicated to the history of Carbon County and the history of the Union Pacific. The Saratoga Museum also features exhibits on the area’s natural history and cultural heritage.
More than anything else, Baggs End is a place for both rifle and bow hunters to call their home away from home. Baggs is a hotspot for mule deer, with the hunting season running from October to January. Elk are also abundant around Baggs End, as are antelope and other small game such as rabbits, squirrels, and pheasant.
Baggs End RV Park offers amenities to fit everyone’s needs. We have 50-amp and 30-amp electrical, sewage, and water hookups. We have satellite internet available for those that need to keep in touch with the outside world. In addition to full-hookup sites for RVs and trailers, there are dry-docking sites, cabins, and tent sites available. There are bathrooms with showers on site, along with coin-operated laundry machines. We have propane, ice, and wood available to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Our RV and trailer sites can accommodate vehicles up to 100 feet in length.

CABINS
Our cabins offer a comfortable stay for 2 to 6 guests. Cabins have a kitchenette including a stove, refrigerator, and microwave. The bath and shower house is available for use for free for Cabin guests. Each cabin has a water spigot located just outside. Cabin campers have access to WiFi and communal areas such as the fire pit and pond.
RV Sites
Our Full-Hookup RV sites offer sewer, water, and 50-amp or 30-amp electrical hookups. Each RV site has a small personal area with a picnic table. RV campers have access to WiFi and communal areas such as the fire pit and pond.
